About Me

Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Welcome to "Cogknitive images" photography, where Holly Coggin and Kristi Knitter work as a team to create keepsakes that are a reflection of each individual. We believe that a photography session should be as fun for you as it is for us! Therefore, we generally use you as our guide. It is our goal to capture you doing things you enjoy with the ones you love. We hope you enjoy this sampling of our recent work and please consider us for your future photography needs.

Fun on the Farm

Yep, they had a ball and, yep, they took a long nap when they arrived home! We all had a fabulous time frolicking at the farm and finding the burrows.  Once found, they had to be fed, patted, and examined.  In fact, these girls may have learned more than their parents bargained for but I bet they will be willing to come back for pictures any 'ol time from now on out!!

Family Fun Times

Mom wanted to catch the leaves at "dropdead gorgeous" and I think she got that and a bonus with the gorgeous light and lovely fall scenery.  Plus, she brought us a lovely bunch of young folks to romp around the battlefield!

So Very Blessed!

Yep, that's what we are and that's what this couple is!  We got to do their engagement and wedding photos a few years ago and now get to be a part of the addition of a baby boy that's coming right at the Christmas holiday.  We are honored to be a continuing part of this love and joy and can't wait to meet our little man.  It's going to be a very merry Christmas!

Sibling Sizzlers!

We love these two!  We have had them out on a farm and out in the city but never on a chilly day with scarves and gloves.  So this year, we switched it up a little and got them in the cool fall weather.  They were the pro models as always (especially after their dad reminded them that the SI swimsuit models shoot in January!)  Yep, we had the whole family in the morning and we really did have fun with it!

Green Eggs and Ham (Ham for the camera, we mean!)

Don't you wish he had pretty eyes??  Honestly, they are this blue and shiny and perfectly grand.  We were so glad to get to see little man T. filling out and getting some rolls on those arms and legs!  We are anxious to watch him grow and see what tricks he has up his sleeves at six months.  It's hard to imagine how much they grow that first year and we are so honored to be invited to capture those precious memories.

Thank God for Answered Prayers

This little gentleman entered the world in a flurry and a flush and made us all stop to pray for his health and growth.  We are so happy to say that momma and daddy brought him home to meet big brother and they have the whole family together like it should be!!  He is quite the looker too and we are honored to get to get out cameras clickin' for him.  Can't even imagine all the plans He has for this little guy!

What a busy weekend!!

We will add a few at a time of a very busy October weekend for the Cogknitive crew!!  We worked hard and are loving the work we got to do!  Here's a cutie-patootie that traveled up to see us while brother was in school.  Her pics are just gorgeous-all cheeks and eyes with a wispy eyelash thrown in for good measure.  We think she earned her Minnie Mouse on the ride home and hope Minnie is in the pictures next time!

Love for 70 Years!!

We were so honored to get the call to capture images of these two wonderful people celebrating 70 years of marriage.   Yes, you read that correctly-no typos here-70 years!  Can you even imagine it?  Plus, they are still as spicy and spunky as we imagine they ever were.  We can only bet that the 70 years have been chocked full of laughter if our afternoon was just a small taste of it.  They truly enjoy each other and enjoyed being there with us.  There's a lot to learn from that-enjoying who you are with and the moment you are with them.  Heck, if you do that, 70 years must happen before you know what hit you.
