About Me

Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Welcome to "Cogknitive images" photography, where Holly Coggin and Kristi Knitter work as a team to create keepsakes that are a reflection of each individual. We believe that a photography session should be as fun for you as it is for us! Therefore, we generally use you as our guide. It is our goal to capture you doing things you enjoy with the ones you love. We hope you enjoy this sampling of our recent work and please consider us for your future photography needs.

Beach Fun!

The "Coggin Crew" enjoyed a fun-filled week in Hilton Head while the Knitters took on Disney World!!!  We are all back and ready to capture lots of special moments for our seniors, brides, babies, and families.  Here are just a few pics from our special little haven on the coast!

TeStiNg a NeW LooK!

So, with the help of a friend, we are testing out a new look.  We thought something simple and straightforward would show the beauty of the pictures.  We are still struggling with the size of the picture versus the clarity for the blog.  Hang in there with us over the next few weeks as we tweak out the kinks and try to make our improvements!!

Lauren and Cal are Engaged!

We have to say first of all that these two have to be two of the sweetest people we have ever met!  Truly,  they just wanted to take care of one another throughout the shoot.  The pictures of Cal carrying Lauren are for real-no posing here!!  Heck, I think he would have carried us if we had asked. He's just a doll and she is gorgeous!  Here is a quick sneak peak of a few images from the afternoon which was simply perfect for picture taking.  We are so excited to see our bride in her dress pretty soon, but there will be no peeks of that until the big day!!

What a Great Season! Go Red Sox!

Wow, what a fun night!  The Red Sox coach pitch team had an undefeated season and played in the championship game.  We squeaked it out 12-8 for the victory.  This is such a great group of boys that have had a super team of coaches and LOTS of parent support.  Might I add that we parents have had as much, if not more, fun than the boys.  Of course,  the camera came to several of the games and caught some shots of each boy in action.  Just could not resist sharing a few from the big night here.  It was a super experience for the boys and a big thanks goes out to Murfreesboro Optimist Baseball for making it so special.  They had music, the line ups announced, the National Anthem, and the ceremonial first pitch.  The guys had to feel like big leaguers, and, you know what, for this night they were :)

Baby Michael Is a Georgia Bulldog!

When we talked to mom about capturing some newborn shots, we asked if there was anything special to include.  She said they didn't really care, just anything would work.  Well, when we got there, the "boys" all have Georgia jerseys and dad whips out a football signed by Vince Dooley!  Some Georgia football needed to be included in these shots.  They were happy to comply!  Baby Michael wasn't sure he liked all the attention, but we managed to capture images that convey the love the family shares for each other.  They were great to work with and we look forward to watching them grow together!

John is a senior!!

We love seniors!!  John was a delight on a REALLY hot afternoon.  It was significantly cooler once we got to our great "secret garden."  Don't you just love the rusticity of the location?!  It's a fun place to shoot with a most gracious host and hostess, too.  Thanks for being such a great subject, John, and thanks for the great locale, Bets!!
