About Me

Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Welcome to "Cogknitive images" photography, where Holly Coggin and Kristi Knitter work as a team to create keepsakes that are a reflection of each individual. We believe that a photography session should be as fun for you as it is for us! Therefore, we generally use you as our guide. It is our goal to capture you doing things you enjoy with the ones you love. We hope you enjoy this sampling of our recent work and please consider us for your future photography needs.

Murfreesboro Photography-McCall Loves the Camera!

Our sweet baby is three months old.  Holly and I had a snow day this week and it was time for the girl's first real photo shoot.  Now, remember, she gets a shoot in everyday with her momma!  This one was as informal as it gets because big brother didn't feel great and we weren't sure if it would even get to happen.  Keeping it simple worked very well for us. You can tell she's a pro already.  She's a doll baby.  You don't need more props when you have these eyes!

Murfreesboro Photography-Formal for Valentine's

Young is gorgeous-just is! As you can tell, I like it when I can catch them not thinking about the camera.  That's when you get the sweetest looks.  Look closely, because you may not recognize them.  This is not their usual look!  They clean up very well!

Brown Eyed Babies

Can you tell these two are brother and sister???  I wanted some pics of my brown eyed girl that would show off her sweet baby eyes and when I looked back at one of my favorite shots of her brother I was quickly reminded just how much they look alike.  Enjoy!!!

Night Photography

The more we learn, the more we learn we need to learn!!  We are so interested in learning to manipulate the available light and use our equipment to get gorgeous shots in any situation.  That being said, gotta get out in the dark!!  The ice afforded an interesting opportunity to work on lighting (with subjects that aren't moving!)  Hope you enjoy a couple of the shots.

Snow Much Fun!

When "Old Man Winter" brings snow...
We had so much fun playing in the snow this weekend, and of course, mom had to brave the elements to capture a few pics!  The snow was pretty, the hot chocolate was yummy, now Bring On The Buttercups!  We are ready for spring!!!

In Anticipation of College Football Signing Day

Just had to post this for my dear friend who is a huge Alabama fan. She says that the reason sweet Meric is a bit pouty here is that we forced her to be in front of that "T!"
Even the Tennessee fan in me had to laugh out loud at that one. With signing day coming up, I am hoping the "T" snags some big ones.  Tammy's rooting for the Tide!
I think you all need to know that Meric only wanted more Skittles! They were her "motivation" for the shoot.  She could care less about our friendly rivalry.

Murfreesboro Photography-baby shots!

He's just too cute to pass up the chance to show him off.  Look at the swirl of hair in the front!!
